Ganymede Project
The Ganymede drilling riser assembly was configured with a 13 5/8” 10.000 PSI Drill-Quip Radial bolt bottom box connector down x 13 5/8 10,000 PSI NT-2 Pin up. The package supplied with a riser handling tool and bolt torque package for efficient riser make up/down.
High Pressure drilling Riser, Norway
Design, verification and manufacture of a high pressure drilling riser, configured, 18¾”15,000 PSI BX164 CRA Flange x Flange with a Safe working Pressure of 15,000 PSI
The system was manufactured in accordance to API 6A 19th Edition PSL-3 and Certified in accordance to DOE SI289 and DOE SI913 industry standard for mobile well control equipment
Claxton also supplied an 18.3/4” NT2 Handling/ Installation tool and a proprietary Claxton-designed 200 Tonne Positive Grip Tension Ring.
Vulcan Drilling Riser assembly
Claxton supplied from rental inventory a high pressure drilling riser 13.5/8” 10,000 PSI BX159 RTJ API flange up x 13 5/8 6000 PSI NT-2 single dog pin down, Total assembly length, 24.2’.
The package supplied with a riser handling tool and bolt torque package for efficient riser make up/down.
Manufacture of Production Risers, Ivory Coast
Claxton designed and manufactured a range of Production Risers, 5.1/8” 5000 PSI Flange x Flange in various lengths to suit the project requirements. These risers were supplied with a full suite of handling tools and bespoke transportation container.
Claxton also completed a full design review and material testing / QA Documentation.
